Glycerin Soap with Rose Fragrance and Almond Oil — Handmade

Sometimes the simplest is the best. This soap does nothing complicated — it washes gently, smells of roses and leaves hands softer than ordinary soap. That is all. And sometimes that is exactly what is needed.

Rose fragrance — why it is different

Most "rose fragrance" products on the market smell of synthetic rose — too sweet, one-dimensional, with little in common with a real rose. In this soap, the fragrance is built from two molecules that are the main components of natural rose essential oil:

• Citronellol — the fresh, green-floral side of rose. The part of the rose scent that is light, bright, almost approaching citrus. Citronellol prevents the rose fragrance from becoming heavy or cloying.
• Geraniol — the warm, honeyed-floral side of rose. A deeper, richer note than citronellol. The part of rose that makes a fragrance feel "expensive" and mature.

Together, these two molecules create a rose fragrance closer to what a real rose smells like in the garden — not what is usually called "rose scent" in cheap candles or air fresheners. The scent is quiet, elegant and fades within minutes of rinsing — it does not linger on the hands or clash with perfume.

Sweet almond oil — softness after washing

Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) is what sets this soap apart from the basic Bio2You glycerin soap range. A light emollient with a high oleic acid content — it softens skin during washing and after rinsing leaves a silky, smooth sensation.

Not a greasy-film effect — more the feeling that hands simply feel better after washing than before. Almond oil works as insurance against the dryness soap tends to leave — especially in winter or if you wash your hands frequently.

Glycerin base

• Glycerin — the main humectant, giving the soap its characteristic translucency and gentler wash than ordinary soap.
• Sorbitol + Propylene Glycol — additional humectants reinforcing glycerin's effect.
• Sodium Stearate, Palmitate, Laurate — soap structure builders from fatty acid salts.
• Sodium Laureth Sulfate — the cleansing base providing lather.
• Titanium Dioxide — mineral white pigment.
• Colourants (CI 77288, CI 19140, CI 16255) — green, yellow and red, which together give the soap a gentle, rose-adjacent hue.

Texture and feel

A smooth soap with a soft, rosy hue. The lather is creamy — glycerin base and almond oil together give it a denser, softer feel than ordinary soap. During washing, the rose fragrance is present but not pushy — it simply adds a pleasant nuance to the process.

How to use

Like any other soap. The almond oil will give hands a softer feel from the very first use — and you will notice the difference most clearly when you next pick up an ordinary soap instead.
